Did you know your daughter can become a Brownie even if she wasn’t a Rainbow?

We meet early evening on Fridays in the village, during school terms. We offer the girls a wide and varied programme which has recently included bouldering, rafting, craft, games and many more exciting activities and experiences.  The most important thing we do is to have fun!

We love the great outdoors and the stunning Peak District that we are so fortunate to have on our doorstep. Our favourite outdoor activities include Weaselling at Higger Tor, tracking in Ecclesall Woods, canoeing, tree climbing and the slack line at the OAC in Sheffield and Glenbrook in Derbyshire where we had our most recent residential weekend. While there we also had a private tour of Trek Cavern and tea at the George Pub in Castleton!

Other activities this year have included pond dipping, jewellery making, crafts, badge work and a visit by a small zoo. We always try to support other charities by some sort of fundraising and this year it was Support Dogs. We had a wonderful visit from Poppy the support dog who charmed us all.
